Let us try to estimate the so-called "gaps in knowledge" by polish studies or contribution to natural resources and development action. Additionally some lack of data to be determined by further investigations. Expedition to iraqi Kurdistan for hairy vertebrates or natural resources management in Beskidy is continuation of return of natural history in a proper form. Survey of Carpathian megafauna is a part of the research program within reconnaissance in zoogeography. Rustic lifestyle is main tribute to nature. The pristine Balkans and ethno-knowledge is one of  the steps to further pragmatism.
